Minnesota Monitoring provides drug testing for the following:
Pre-Employment
Random
Post-Accident
Probable Cause / Reasonable Suspicion
Breath Alcohol Testing
Urinalysis Testing
Minnesota Monitoring offers the highest technology in screening devices for urinalysis. This noninvasive test can net results within seven minutes, all non-negatives will be forwarded to the lab for confirmation. Confirmation and a quantitative result can be attained within 1- 3 business days from the time the lab receives the specimen.
Our SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration) laboratory certifies all screening devices and confirmations. Each member of our staff is fully trained and certified in the collection, handling, and reporting of all types of specimen collection.
Alcohol Testing
We offer breath alcohol tests as well as a urine alcohol test that goes back 80 hours for alcohol consumption.
Hair Testing
Call ahead for testing hours.
In conjunction with urinalysis, Minnesota Monitoring offers an expanded five-panel hair test. With its unique components, a hair sample can detect drugs of abuse within the past 90 days and up to a year in some cases. Hair can also become a permanent record of drug usage, whereas urine can be quickly eliminated. Hair samples are also difficult to adulterate. In a side by side comparison, hair testing more frequently identifies more drug usage than a urinalysis. Most members of the Minnesota Monitoring staff are fully trained in the collection, handling and reporting of hair samples. Lab results take 1 - 3 business days from the time the lab receives the specimen. We recommend calling ahead for an appointment.
Medical Review Officer
Medical Review Officer (MRO) services can also be offered. Select testing requires the use of an MRO, however, this service can be helpful when sorting through illegal and prescription drugs. The MRO can verify perscription medications to validate results.
Background Checks
Minnesota Monitoring offers background checks in the following areas: Criminal, Consumer Credit, Driving, Education, Employment Verification, Office of Foreign Assets Control, and Professional License Verification.
Miscellaneous
Minnesota Monitoring can also be helpful in creating and updating current drug and alcohol abuse policies. In addition, we offer each workplace the ability to request onsite testing for both drugs and alcohol. Our technicians and “live” Customer Service Agents are available at 888-875-3486.
